| "Geun
Young Yeom", Ph.D. has been a Professor
at Sungkyunkwan University for 10 years
(or since 1992) in Materials Engineering
Department. He is teaching plasma processing
technologies at the department and is
working on developing equipments and
processes related to plasma etching.
Prior to joining Sungkyunkwan University,
"Yeom" was a process development
position for Tektronix Inc. in Beverton,
Oregon, USA. During his 2 years at
Tektronix Inc, "Yeom" spent
time doing responsibility of developing
etching processes for a bipolar IC.
Also, he joined Silicon Systems Inc.
for one year located at Tustin CA,
USA.
"Yeom" received a Ph.D.
degree in Electronic Materials Engineering
from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
Urbana, Il, USA, a Master degree in
Materials Engineering from Seoul National
University, Seoul, Korea, and a Bachelor
degree in Metallurgical Engineering
from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea.
